Welcome to Iowa Music

A Little About Me:

Hi, I have been teaching for a total of 29 years, the last 10 years have been here at Iowa. Students in my classroom are exposed to many types of music, as well as how to perform and create music. I have a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction as well as an Education Specialists Degree in Building Administration. My family consists of my wife (a special education teacher), and our two sons (one is a senior at U of I, and the other is now living on his own in Pocatello). I enjoy camping, and fishing.

Welcome Video:

Go to your music class in OTUS for the assignment of the week.  While we are wholly online, we will have a different assignment each week.  Every student is expected to participate.  Each lesson should take no more than 20 minutes a week to complete.

You can install Garageband on your iPad (from the Manager).

Garage Band
Garageband allows you to play around with music, create your music, and share your music.  You can use all kinds of instruments.  Some classes may even use this for an assignment.

More to come.  If you have a suggestion, feel free to email me and let me know.
